our last LO reveal for the year!

Hi scrappers! hope the holidays were good and that everyone is getting ready for the new year!

this week we have another sketch done by our own jackie!
and this week our guest dt is dalis!
My name is Alidalis but all my chicas call me Dalis. I am originally from Puerto Rico and moved to the Midwest, USA 11 years ago and I call it now HOME. I just love love love COLD weather, yes, you heard right... I guess I got tired of having 90 degrees every day of the year. I am married so sorry to all the handsome guys that saw my picture here and said HUBBA HUBBA! We have a gorgeous pretty intelligent girl name Bianca, which just started the terrible twos.... HELP!!!!! She is a great toddler but she has her days of craziness and stubbornness... I wonder where she got it? Like yesterday she thought Kramer (one of our doggies) wanted to wear her sunglasses, so she taped (yes, you read correctly... TAPED!) the sunglasses to the dogs forehead. Calgon please take me away!!!!
The LO I made using the sketch is using November's 2Gals Scrappin' (www.2galsscrappin.com), this like every month it is filled to the rim w/ gorgeous items. Also if you want to see some other samples w/ this kit, check out "We kit U not" blog at http://kimsonksen.typepad.com/wekitunot/ where I am representing the 2Gals Scrappin' kit every month! and one more last thing... come and visit my blog if you have some spare time!

we had another great sketch from ann but we are sad to say she is no longer with lets scrap after december, thanks ann for the sketches and your great cards!
our guest card designer this time is Trace Geworsky‏

Hi everyone,
My name is Trace Geworsky, and I am super excited to be the guest designer for Let's Scrap for December.
I live in a little town in Manitoba, Canada where by day, I run a daycare from my home. I have a 5 year old son, Si who has started scrapbooking, so now we spend our evenings creating, side by side..I LOVE it!!!
I would describe my scrappy style as freestyle/ecclectic, and you will always find ink and/or paint on every single project I create.
You can check out my blog at www.createbytrace.blogspot.com
Can't wait to see your creations:)

here is her take on the sketch:
Products Used:
cardstock: Bazzill
ink: Staz on
Paint:Ranger
patterned paper: My minds eye & Making Memories flocked paper
scalloped circle punch: marvy
bling:Heidi Swapp
sticker:Scenic Route
adhesive: glue dots & glue stick

**I trimmed 4 pieces od patterned paper so they were roughly the same size, but cut them a little crooked, to create a different look for the background.
I inked around each piece of patterned paper, inked around the cardstock, and then painted the edges.
To make paper look like ribbon, I did the accordion fold with the paper, inked it, and then used glue dots to hold it down in 3 places, while letting the rest of the strip remain raised.

thanks trace you rocked it!

December featured member is......

amy duff
she does amazing work and i am always blown away by her cards! she also happens to be a guest dt in dec for us so please check back in a few weeks for her dt reveal!

Definitely a Mom or a Mom Warrior for my daughter's battle with Autism. I am engaged to a Brit whom tolerates my habits which include papercrafts, reading, indulging in too much Pinot Noir, watching Hell's Kitchen, attending Jazz Fest in NOLA, travelling anywhere with a beach (well minus D. R. right Si?) and paper hoarding. All is grand!

here are a few of her favorite things she has done:
Mon Amie: A favorite card because I like the felt bird I hand cut and inked myself

Hello: The papers are gorgeous so was intimidated to even cut them! One of my first cards using the Webster's Pages line.
Altered Christmas Wish Box: The shabby chic look is me and after meeting Melissa Frances it meant even more to me when I create with her papers. Soinspiringg!

some questions we asked her:
started making cards at an early age (10) and progressed from there to making various crafts. I loved stamps and remember having a teddy bear stamp with a mint scented pad that I used on every letter I wrote. I even attempted to make my own wallpaper and stamped the wall with it much to my parents dismay.
My favorite embellishment is well... can I select a few? LOL! I love ribbon and buttons! I was trying to think if I have a card/page without ribbon or buttons. I don't think I do.
Favorite product line is currently Webster's Pages because the papers are so beautiful. I often don't want to cut them because they are so stunning.

I am engaged but have not set a date yet. Much to our parents disapproval. The current economy makes it difficult to sell two homes. :-( I have a daughter from a previous marriage named Jacquelynn, whom is 12.

I am on the computer every day.

Favorite site for inspiration... it depends on what I am looking for but always love going to 2 Sketches 4 You to see the cards created there weekly.

here is her blog go and check her out:
