march cards and our crop!

good afternoon everyone! i am a few days late posting this and i am sorry. with our upcoming move things have been crazy so lets get back to the program

This week i let the girls pick their own sketches to use

this weeks guest designer is
Sarah de Guzman
BIO:
Hi. My name is Sarah, and I am so very honored to be featured as a Guest Designer for Let's Scrap! It's such a wonderful and encouraging group of scrappers! Here's a little bit more about myself: Scrapbooking has always been a part of my life since my high school days, but it has recently become an everyday activity (aka. addiction)! On top of being a hobby, it helps me relax and relieve my stress. I guess you could call it therapy. Besides, the best part about scrapping is there is no right or wrong way to do it, so I can never make a mistake at something I love! If I’m not scrapbooking, I’m probably shopping for scrap supplies or enjoying the fresh air at the beach. I don’t have any children, but I have one dog named Maui, a white Miniature Schnauzer.

our last LO reveal for the year!

Hi scrappers! hope the holidays were good and that everyone is getting ready for the new year!

this week we have another sketch done by our own jackie!
and this week our guest dt is dalis!
My name is Alidalis but all my chicas call me Dalis. I am originally from Puerto Rico and moved to the Midwest, USA 11 years ago and I call it now HOME. I just love love love COLD weather, yes, you heard right... I guess I got tired of having 90 degrees every day of the year. I am married so sorry to all the handsome guys that saw my picture here and said HUBBA HUBBA! We have a gorgeous pretty intelligent girl name Bianca, which just started the terrible twos.... HELP!!!!! She is a great toddler but she has her days of craziness and stubbornness... I wonder where she got it? Like yesterday she thought Kramer (one of our doggies) wanted to wear her sunglasses, so she taped (yes, you read correctly... TAPED!) the sunglasses to the dogs forehead. Calgon please take me away!!!!
The LO I made using the sketch is using November's 2Gals Scrappin' (www.2galsscrappin.com), this like every month it is filled to the rim w/ gorgeous items. Also if you want to see some other samples w/ this kit, check out "We kit U not" blog at http://kimsonksen.typepad.com/wekitunot/ where I am representing the 2Gals Scrappin' kit every month! and one more last thing... come and visit my blog if you have some spare time!

super card saturday

well its another round of design team reveal's and a special guest designer, i hope you enjoy these cards as much as i did!

our guest dt this week is karen!

My name is Karen Brooks, I’m 36, a wife, mom, pet parent, college gal, papercrafter and all around goofball who typically goes by the username of KarenB or craf_t_scrapper on message boards.

My first scrapbooking adventure was in 1989/1990 in the form of my senior book and when I look back now I wonder what the heck was I thinking. In 1992 with the birth of my daughter I tried to fancy up the photo albums w/chat bubbles and stickers and construction paper – again, what was I thinking. From 1992 to 2002 I dabbled around in different types of papercrafting but not serious scrapbooking. In 2002 a dear friend of mine gave me a bridal shower gift basket FULL of pretty papers, ribbons, flowers and what knot and I was curious what it all was. She showed me her albums and that was all it took – there has been no looking back.

I do not scrap in chronological order – if I did I would probably shock everyone. You can find me in my scrappy hole going through pictures from when my parents were kids all the way to current pictures of my kids and when one jumps out I scrap it. My passion in papercrafting though is card making. I love the thought of creating a small work of art that will hopefully brighten someone’s day when they receive it.

I am so honored that Renee asked me to guest DT for the month of November here at Let’s Scrap and enjoyed the sketch she provided me to work from tremendously!!! Thanks a lot for taking the time to read a little about me!!!! Happy scrappin’ all!!!
